As soon as you have your dates, especially if you're visiting Kiawah Island or Isle of Palms during peak seasons like late spring and fall. Family, vacation, and proposal sessions tend to book well in advance, and booking early gives us the most flexibility when it comes to timing, location, and availability.

That said, it's always worth reaching out. If I'm available during your trip to Kiawah Island, Isle of Palms, or the Charleston area, I'm happy to accommodate last-minute sessions whenever possible.

It depends on where you're staying. If you're on Kiawah Island or Isle of Palms, the beach is usually my first recommendation. The light is beautiful, the setting feels relaxed, and it doesn't pull you away from your trip.

If you're staying downtown, there are plenty of beautiful locations throughout historic Charleston as well. Once I know where you're staying and the kind of feel you're going for, I'll help you choose the location that's the best fit.

Simple and timeless is usually the way to go. I recommend soft, neutral colors, comfortable clothing, and pieces that feel like you. Whether we're photographing your family on Kiawah Island, a proposal in downtown Charleston, or a vacation session on Isle of Palms, the goal is for the focus to stay on the people in the photos.

I generally suggest avoiding logos, neon colors, and busy patterns.  If you want more specific guidance based on your location and the season, I'm happy to send over recommendations once we book.

Portrait sessions begin at $950, with options based on the type of session and who will be included. Whether you're planning a proposal, documenting a family vacation, or booking photos during your time in Charleston, Kiawah Island, or Isle of Palms, every session includes planning support, location guidance, and a full gallery of edited images.

If your session requires travel beyond the Charleston area, additional travel fees may apply. During the inquiry process, I'll walk you through the options and help you choose the best fit.

Most galleries are delivered within 2–3 weeks, though the official turnaround time is up to 6 weeks. I always aim to deliver as quickly as possible while giving each gallery the attention it deserves.

Yes. While I'm based in Charleston, I'm always happy to travel for sessions. I regularly photograph proposals, vacations, and families throughout the Charleston area, including Kiawah Island, Isle of Palms, and Folly Beach.
