I got a call in the middle of July from Christina to ask me if I was in any way possibly available to photograph a VERY last minute beach wedding – and I happened to have the weekend free! As it turns out she and her fiance (Jeff) had a vacation to Charleston planned with their four little girls and they decided last minute to tie the knot!
Their beach elopement was scheduled for 6:45pm on Saturday – and it rained ALL DAY. I drove to our meeting spot in the pouring (I’m talking cats & dogs, people) rain praying and praying that the sky would clear and that God would give us a pretty pink (no idea why I asked for pink…I hadn’t seen her flowers or dresses!) sunset. When I pulled up to the house the rain let up a little bit – and by the time we got to the beach we had the PERFECT sunset! It was absolutely incredible.
The weather was nothing short of miraculous – and somehow Christina got every perfect detail of their little elopement planned in TWO WEEKS! Seriously people…how amazing?!
