Emily & Drew | A Sunset Wedding at King’s Grant Country Club

Friends, we are SO excited to share Emily & Drew’s sunset wedding at the King’s Grant Country Club! We loved these two from the first moment we met them. They are both sincere, kind-hearted souls who are 1000% in love with each other.

When Dave and I stepped into Drew’s family’s home to meet him and his guys his sweet mom, Toni, welcomed us. She swept us into the heart of their home where all the guys were…and they were ON TIME and ready! (Drew & Emily run a tight ship). Dave and I both love being prompt and adhering to schedule – so our little hearts jump for joy when our couples are the same way!! Drew and his groomsmen (nearly all Citadel men) looked sharp and brought their A-game to photos, but Drew’s only thought was for his soon-to-be bride. He was so excited for their first look.

The First Look

They chose a gorgeous spot for their first look, nestled under a rambling live oak and decorated with an incredible floral display. (The story about their florals will give you goosebumps…we’ll share in a minute!)  From the moment she called his name and he turned around Drew couldn’t take his eyes off his beautiful bride. Drew spun Emily to admire her gown (which we LOVED), and they spent a few quiet moments together.

The Florals

The whole day was absolute perfection, and hearing Drew and Emily share the story about their beautiful flowers was just the icing on the cake! The night before the wedding, when they were going by the venue for their rehearsal and to finalize details they met an incredibly generous soul. Michelle Summers, owner of Your Signature Designs coordinated a concept photoshoot at the venue, and had a gorgeous floral installment on the live oak Emily and Drew planned to use for their first look. Now for the best part. Michelle left the floral design on the tree for them (the colors were their EXACT colors), and she also created an incredible bouquet for Emily, AND all of her bridesmaids. Goosebumps.
