Connection. This is the word we BOTH said when we tried to come up with the best way to describe Ben & Sarah’s day. From the moment we walked into Sarah’s getting ready room, until the sparkler exit at nearly midnight, the whole day was soaked in connection.
The most romantic ceremony on the sand…
Ben stood back-to under the arch on the beach, his best man (and brother) beside him, ready to tap him when his bride was close. Sarah, the biggest smile on her face, walked down the sandy aisle on her mom’s arm. Adam (best man) tapped Ben’s shoulder, and he turned to his bride.
Y’all. This moment is life. We couldn’t hear each other, but I KNOW Dave had just as many goosebumps as I did. I also know we both laughed just as hard and smiled just as much when the tide washed in and nearly soaked the whole bridal party. (Sarah’s mom was out of her chair and grabbing Sarah’s dress up in .01 seconds flat!)
Focused on connection…
The minute they walked into their reception, Sarah and Ben were fully focused on their sweet family and friends. They danced, they ate, they drank (you’ll have to ask us personally about their “Thunderstruck” game) and they celebrated until they absolutely had to shut down.
I have a million favorite parts of their wedding, but my very favorite might have to be the sparkler exit. it was beautiful (plus nobody lit my hair on fire), and they “exited” 3 times! (Sarah said “let’s go again!!” as soon as they reached the end of the row!).
