Jussie & Matt | A Romantic Wingate Plantation Wedding Under The Oaks

Weddings are so personal. There are trends, and “styles”, and Pinterest crazes….but I absolutely LOVE when one of our couples makes their day uniquely their own. I especially love it when everything turns out as gorgeous as Justine & Matt’s. Their entire day was DIY…and it was absolutely perfect.

It felt like walking into a scene from The Notebook

Picture this: Giant live oaks with Spanish moss draped branches, a wooden swing decorated with flowers hanging in the front yard, the prettiest little white house wrapped with the perfect Southern front porch. (just so you know this picture perfect spot is Wingate Plantation).

First off, Jussie MADE HER OWN BOUQUETS. Our brides (or their moms / friends) make their own bouquets sometimes, so it wouldn’t be such a “wow” except, LOOK AT THEM (lots, of caps, but they’re necessary! Look at these flowers!). When I first arrived her sisters were putting the finishing touches on the front swing, and ya’ll…just wait till you see.
