Weddings have looked a little different in 2020, and wedding planning has been an entirely different story. Walking through these times alongside our couples has been a roller coaster – equal parts heartbreak and happiness – but Courtney & Conner’s Charleston wedding was only joy. (They do, however, deserve an award for staying sane through planning a Covid wedding!)
Courtney & Conner’s wedding was an absolutely perfect day. Seriously. From the moment Dave & I walked onto the property at Zero George and Haberdash for their getting ready, all the way through their energetic and joyful shaker exit to a boat at Creek Club we felt like we were part of their family. We absolutely love what we do – but when we serve people who are so happy for us to be there it makes our day every time. People like Courtney, Conner and their family are why we’ve chosen to be wedding photographers.
Courtney and her ladies got ready at Zero George (one of my absolute favorites, if you’re getting married in Charleston or even just in town for a visit check them out!) and Conner and his guys got ready at the fabulous Haberdash on Market St. Their beautiful ceremony was at Charleston’s beautiful First Baptist Church, and then we headed over to Mt. Pleasant for their reception at Creek Club at I’on.
Any Georgia fans out there? You’ll wanna scroll all the way through and see their Calling of the Dawgs at the reception (spoiler…Dave and I had to look this up ahead of time since we’re from hockey-land…but now we’re pros) 😉 to their shaker exit!!
