Kimberly – Maternity Portraits – Historic Charleston, May 2018

Until just recently I hadn’t heard of a “babymoon” – but I am SO happy it has become a thing! If David and I ever decide to have little ones I am most definitely planning our own babymoon to someplace beautiful and new.

Kim and her husband came to Charleston from Houston back in May. They were getting ready to welcome their sweet little girl, and since they are history lovers (and also Nicholas Sparks lovers – so of course the Carolina’s are the best place for BOTH of those passions) they decided to come to Charleston! She reached out to me and said they wanted their maternity portraits under the live oaks, and in the beautiful, colorful streets of the historic district.

We spent some time under the oaks in White Point Garden, and then made it all the way over to Rainbow Row! (I think I should preface my portrait sessions with a warning – we will do lots of walking!) How beautiful is Kim?! I adored her pink gown!
