The B Family | Lifestyle Photos at Isle of Palms Beach

This past fall (yeah, yeah, I know I’m behind on blogging) I had the pleasure of photographing the B family at sunrise on Isle of Palms beach in Charleston, South Carolina. It was a perfect morning for a family photo session, it was a little overcast but we had a beautiful, warm glow from the rising sun.

When the B family arrived at the beach, they looked perfect in their coordinating outfits. Mom and Dad were both wearing green pants and neutral tops, while Baby J was dressed in a cute ivory sweater and pants outfit. The colors complemented each other perfectly, if you know me you know I love coordination, not matching, and they knocked it out of the park.

As we started the session, Baby J was such a good boy! He was so cooperative and calm, and loved snuggling with his mom and dad. We took some family photos near the dunes, and some with the ocean in the background. That morning light is SO good, and the B family is fantastic at relaxing and enjoying their session.

After the family photos, we took some individual portraits of Baby J. He was such a little model, and he looked adorable in his outfit. He hung out on the blanket while all four of us made ridiculous noises to see if we could get a laugh. (spoiler, he wasn’t about to give in that easy)

As always, the early wakeup call was worth it for an amazing sunrise session at the beach. Seriously, y’all. If you have little ones think about a sunrise session (and yes, I mean actual sunrise).
